Course Memo

The Qualifying Exam is a compulsory 3 credits component of the doctoral program. Its goal is to assess the PhD student knowledge and skills in the area of the thesis research. The Qualifying Exam consists of two parts: • general knowledge questions on a disciplinary or field-specific choice of the candidate. • research-related questions. The Doctoral Program Committee tailors the format and delivery mode of the Qualifying Exam to best suit the requirements of the doctoral program.
